Sunday Smoothies

Hey there! Can we talk about how absolutely wild our schedules get? Between back-to-back client calls, those document reviews, and all the things that occupy our personal time, who has time for proper nutrition?

That's exactly why smoothies have become my absolute lifesaver! I'm completely obsessed with this simple recipe I throw together most mornings, and I had to share it with you.

What's in my blender?

So check out this photo - this is my actual smoothie prep! I've got:

  • Those frozen banana slices in the blue bowl? Game-changers for creaminess! Plus, I toss in some frozen mango because I’m Caribbean, and I need this to be as tropical as possible!

  • Chia seeds in that red bowl might look tiny, but wow, they are really an excellent source of fiber and let’s be honest here, none of us are probably getting enough of that!

  • That purple bowl has my favorite Greek yogurt - protein for days, which means I'm doing less snacking in between meals.

  • And yes, that's spinach in the yellow bowl! I promise you barely taste it, but your body will thank you during those long afternoons.

  • The measuring spoon has my rolled oats - they make the smoothie so much more filling.

Why I'm a smoothie convert

Look, I tried the whole "I'll meal prep elaborate lunches every Sunday" thing. It lasted exactly two weeks before I got tired of it. But smoothies? I can actually stick with this routine!

They take me like 3 minutes to throw together when I'm half-awake and rushing. The best part? I can customize based on what my body needs - extra protein after a workout, more greens when I haven’t had enough, or a bit of honey when I’m craving something sweet.

My smoothie habit has seriously been my anchor for getting actual nutrients even during the most chaotic weeks.

What about you? Are you team smoothie? Drop me your favorite combinations in the comments - I'm always looking to switch things up!
